Growing up in Appleton Wisconsin allowed me to explore interests in working with animals and nature, caring for my own dogs and pet parrot along with many other critters that seemed to need a home! After graduating from Appleton North High School and Renaissance School for the Arts, I continued my education at the prestigious Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior.  My coursework required passing 27 individual assessments scored by instructors and three written exams, qualifying me to conduct business as a nationally Certified Dog Trainer. I opened Daladogs Training, LLC in 2022 working with clients and their dogs primarily in their homes.  I participated in the VSA dog training and behaviors flagship courses, including the year-long in-person track. Many common issues like leash walking, jumping, chasing, pawing, chewing and puppy distraction can be easily handled along with psychological stressors like anxiety, fears and phobias. Positive reinforcement training is an effective training method that is backed up by the trusted, up-to-date scientific and psychological studies on dogs and builds trust through methods that do not use forms of aversive training such as physical or harsh verbal punishment. The positive reinforcement method is the most efficient and beneficial method that does not backfire behaviors, and grows a strong and trusting relationship between you and your dog. My goal is to sculpt a well-behaved, happy and friendly dog.  My clients have said I am a kind and calm soul with animals and people, and I do my best to understand the situations at home between you and your dog. I am a reliable and trustworthy trainer who can transform a deep bond between you and your pet.
