I worked for the UK Government for over 30 years prior to graduating as a VSA certified dog trainer in January 2018. I've owned 9 dogs over 33 years including 2 small mongrels and 7 not so small Newfoundlands.  8 of my dogs were rescues, 2 having some very serious issues when I took them on. I love working with rescues, seeing them develop into confident dogs and learning to trust their new family is very rewarding. I have a lot of experience working with rehomes and also large / giant breeds.  I also enjoy doing lead and recall work in addition to teaching basic obedience, intermediate skills and Hoopers agility. I work with clients at their pace and that of their dog, I never rush training sessions and offer support upon completion of any training package both group and private. I will put together bespoke training plans to individual requirements. Having worked with TV actors and sports people, I respect privacy and confidentiality and offer confidentiality agreements if required.
