Oliver has continued to educate himself with other professionals such as Suzanne Clothier, Karolina Westlund Friedman & Kim Brophey as well as others.

Dog Smart is run with his wife Rebecca who has worked in the veterinary industry for over 20 years serving as a registered vet nurse and now manages a group of veterinary practices as well as working for Dog Smart teaching agility.

Oliver teaches general training as well as gundog training and also does a limited amount of behaviour consulting.

Oliver has experienced raising a litter of puppies from birth first hand after one of their foster dogs arrived pregnant, this was an amazing experience that he was privileged to be a part of and was the turning point of his decision to work with dogs full time.

Dog Smart offers limited group classes but specialises in working with people at a one to one level, so that each partnership can be looked at individual level as it deserves to be and doesn't have to comply with training by a set curriculum.

Our core principles are to enable a better understanding and to be able to tease apart individual characters traits and to be able to work towards their strengths, we enjoy watching relationships blossom and it is why our training is done at a one to one level, this creates the affordances to train freely in a natural environment, relatively free of captivity and with plenty of choice, so good observations can be made and we can teach people how to be "Dog Smart"
