Sarah Lukemire is a marketing guru by day and a pet blogger, dog lover, and pit bull advocate by night. Her blog, Lola The Pitty, is a positive site that brings awareness to important subjects regarding dogs, documents their adventures, shares dog recipes, networks bully breed dogs in need of adoption or rescue, as well as fight the negative stereotypes associated with pit bull type dogs.

Sarah is a Colorado native and has two dogs, Lola and Rio. She grew up with a passion and love for all animals and a huge weakness for dogs and horses. When she's not entertaining her own two dogs, Sarah enjoys volunteering for local animal rescues and has successfully fostered many dogs; providing them a home until they are adopted.

She is actively involved in dog training and plans to train Rio as a therapy dog. Lola is a sport-loving dog that is involved in disc and fly ball as well as ongoing obedience training (although the former two are her favorite).

Her hopes are that with their stories and education she can inspire others to adopt, rescue and give dogs such as Lola and Rio (and the millions of other bullies) a chance at life to exceed our expectations.
