Juliana DeWillems is owner and lead trainer at JW Dog Training & Behavior Consulting in the Washington, D.C. metro area. She began training dogs in 2013 and got her first certification in 2014, graduating with distinction from the Karen Pryor Academy as a Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP). Juliana went on to get her Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) certification in 2016, Certified Behavior Consultant Canine - Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA) certification in 2019, and Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) in 2021.

Juliana graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. degree in Animal Science, which sparked her interest in the science behind training and behavior. She worked with horses and cows in college, and moved to companion animals after graduating.
