Jo Pay
Jo has enjoyed working with dogs for over 20 years and is proud to have run her own successful dog training business promoting force free, kind training for 10 years.
Jo’s career started in rescue, caring for, cleaning up and exercising dogs that for often no fault of their own found themselves in need of a new home. From here, Jo secured her first training role working as the Puppy Socialising Trainer for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, selecting dogs for the scheme, co-ordinating volunteer puppy walkers and running classes and training sessions for the dogs in the socialisation programme.
Following the birth of two bouncing baby boys, Jo decided to open her own business training dogs, this business has gone from strength to strength, offering puppy classes, improver classes, RallyO classes, scent work classes, dog agility, trick training, puppy parties, 1-2-1 training and behaviour modification work – all force free and using positive reinforcement of course!
Jo is the European Co-ordinator for Victoria Stilwell Dog Training; Jo has completed a Higher Diploma in Cynology achieving a distinction, is currently working through the Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management and is a full member of the Pet Professional Guild, The Association of IntoDogs and an accredited animal behaviourist approved by the Animal Behaviour and Training Council.
Jo shares her life with two Border Collies, Indie and Twist.
