Family Dog Keeps Lost Boy Safe
When 3-year-old Carson Urness went missing, his family feared the worst. But when they realized that the family dog was missing too, there was hope that maybe the two were still together.
Seven hours after a two hundred-person search party scoured the area around the Urness's property, a volunteer spotted Cooper, the Urness's dog. And soon they saw who was huddled underneath him--Carson.
The Urness's beloved dog had kept Carson warm and safe until help could arrive, and helped shield him from the heavy rain and thunder that hit the area during the search.
The pair was found about a mile away from Carson's home, and his family is grateful to everyone who helped looked for him, but especially to their incredibly loyal dog, Cooper.
Carson was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, and is doing just fine.
