QUESTION ABOUT PLAYTIME

Post by vs_carlie »

i want to describe a case of a friend of mine. he has 3 dogs the biggest in age is the mom of the other two are siblings.on male and one female.the female is bigger in size (they are 1,5 years old). when the play happens this: the female is running and the male is chasing her biting her front or back legs. when the female stops bacause she wants to stop all this the male bites her ears. mom does the same she bites her ears. when the female starts running again the male bites her legs and this happens on and on untill they get tired and stop playing. my question is:is this normall? does the female enjoys all this game? i m waiting for your answers

The best one to tell you is the female herself, is she enjoying it? What is her body language telling you?

With my dogs if I feel uncomfortable with they play I stop it, I didn't have dogs to feel uncomfortable I have them for companions and friends, I don't want to feel uncomfortable by the way they play. There are many ways for a dog to play, they don't need to make me uncomfortable.

If these dogs owner feels uncomfortable then she should stop this type of play.
