It certainly used to be widely done in the recent past. There was a big TV expose in the 1990s (check out Canine Health Concern website)Since then, some pet food companies have smartened their act up - and some haven't.

That's pretty scary. I'm hoping to at least switch to half raw and half commercial (just to dip my toes in the water ) Just have to research more and check out prices. Thankfully we know alot of hunters, have to check with them, too!
