Lump on puppy's neck

Post by Zeldacorgi »

I plan on calling the vet just to be safe, but I thought I'd get some input here. I found a small lump on the back of Zelda's neck. It's under the skin, and I can move it around when I feel it. I've heard this can happen after vaccinations, and she did just finish her vaccination schedule a few days ago. So, anyone have any info on this?

My weenies formed pockets around their vaccinations several years ago (before we got them). So they have what feels like little marbles under their neck skin. Since then their previous owner (and we) get their vaccinations in their hiney.

Quite a common vaccine reaction. Not a lot that can be done but your vet needs to know she has reacted. Keep an eye on the place in case it gets infected (this means nicht gerfingerpoken  )
