Dogs and the great outdoors

What do you take with you when you and your pup venture out into the wilderness? What are must haves?

Great question :D

Poo bags
Water if we are going a long way where there isn't any. And one of those collapsible fabric water "bowls"
Treats
Leads
Camera if it isn't raining
Penknife

First Aid kit in the car

I think that's all............... :?:

I've also heard benadryll in case of an allergic reaction to something like a bee sting which can tie you over to get to a vet. Has anyone else heard that?

I don't have any knowledge of that, but we can use Piriton in an emergency, which is an anti-histamine my vet says is okay to use on dogs.
