Lancashire Heelers

Post by Doolally »

Just wondered if anyone on here has a Lancashire Heeler? I'm not sure how popular they are in the US, but in the UK the only one i've ever seen 2 both owned by my brother/his girlfriend.

They're a small breed, JRT sized, black and tan with pointy ears. My brother has one - his girlfriend's family was given one years ago by some gypsy's and when that dog died they went to the other end of the country to get this puppy as they're not that common and there's not a huge amount of breeding bitches in this country. She's adorable, easy to train and willing to please, very friendly with people and dogs', not very yappy, and a bundle of fun.

We have a lancashire heeler she is 10 years old now and nearly blind. She is really greedy and loves clicker training.
