Re: A health success....no diarrhea and moved to RAW feeding
I'm glad raw is working for you Jacksdad.. I have to be careful with my girls diet.. she has cramping episodes, where he tummy goes very hard and she rocks. She's only ever done it a few times and some things that she eats can be triggers. Its horrible seeing them like that, and I have every sympath...

Dental Problems and Raw Bones
My rescue border has just had to undergo some surgery for her bad teeth. She had four bad molars removed and a descale and polish. I think she was fed on mainly tinned food before I had her and of course this has just built up over time. What I want to know is, to keep her teeth clean I intend to ca...

Prize Choice
Hello there, I am tentatively switching over to a raw diet again, and wondered if anyone could give me a rough guide on how much of the prize choice packets they feed to their dog? I have two border terriers. I would say on average about 7-8kg each. I have never given them prize choice before so wou...

Re: Lennox lost his appeal
The sad thing for the family though Nettle is the Dog Warden (who I believe seized Lennox), actually said his Littermate was not type but said that Lennox was. So one rule for one, one rule for the other. Sad... I've been following it too, and I'm desperate for him to be saved.

Re: Did anyone in the UK see this last night?
According to another forum they may not be doing further slots with this guy. Don't know how true this is but they have had twice as many complaints than for any other feature they have done. Lets just hope (fingers crossed)

The One Show BBC1
Words fail me really.... anyone else caught this Jordan chap (so called animal behaviourist) on the One Show?? Basically, he uses the methods CM uses. This JRT suffered from resource guarding issues and the way he dealt with it... well you can guess the rest. I cannot believe how irresponsible the B...

Re: Overweight Border Terrier
Border Terriers are notoriously greedy dogs. They will eat anything and everything, I come out in sympathy as I have two myself. Personally for me, I think the breed standard weight for these dogs (as defined in the KC is too low or should I say doesn't take into account all shapes and sizes). My b*...

Re: How do I socialize my malamute rescue?
Emma, is there an easy to way to find Jacksdad threads? When I have tried to have a look back I click on 'users posts' and I get about 130 odd pages to sift through. These aren't just Jacks threads, but other threads that Jacksdad might have commented on. Hope you don't mind me saying, its just not ...
