Victoria on 20/20

Victoria was featured on a recent episode of ABC's newsmagazine show, 20/20, called "Caught In the Act."  In this lighthearted segment, Victoria offers her views on how and why certain 'naughty' animals perform their various dirty deeds.

    This may look charming and probably is unusual behavior for a cat, but there's nothing funny about letting cats out like this. They get in fights, they get into things that make them sick, they get stolen, and they get hit by cars. To say nothing of their impact on the songbirds. And if they're not spayed/neutered? More and more homeless cats.

Choice Training – Working with a Leash Reactive Dog

When Sadie first came into my life four years ago, she was what I would call a reactive dog, lunging towards and barking viciously at any dog that walked past or came close to her. Fortunately I was able to temper her reaction and teach her a new way to cope and behave in similar situations. The techniques I used meant I could change her behavior without physically punishing or imposing my will upon her in any way. I just gave her choices.
